Oklahoma Rising: The Rose Bowl 2007 Rocket-man Float

Video shows a rocket-man flying out of a birthday cake atop the float. 2007 is Oklahoma's centennial year as a state.
The Oklahoma Space Industry Development Authority (OSIDA) plans to open a spaceport in 2007. Oklahoma's aerospace company is called Rocketplane. Armadillo Aerospace presently uses the spaceport located at Burns Flat, Oklahoma. The name for the float "Oklahoma Rising" speaks to these facts.
