*** How do I search for another YouTube user?
To search for another YouTube user, please perform the following:
1. Go to http://www.youtube.com
2. Click the "My Account" link on the main page then "All Contacts"
under "Friends & Contacts"
3. Type your friend’s user name in the "See if your friends are
already on YouTube" box.
You can also perform a search for their user name then select
"Channels" on the left.
*** How do I change the thumbnail on my video?
Unfortunately there is no way to change the screen shot that we capture
for your video. We may add this feature in the future.
What you could do in the meantime is edit the video so it is just a
little bit shorter and then upload this new edited video to the site.
YouTube will grab a different screen shot of this one because the length
of the video is now different.
*** Why are my comments not posting?
Depending on a user's preference comments on their videos may require
approval before being displayed. If the user declines the comment,
removes your comment, or does not actively approve comments to their video
your comment may not appear. You may also be over your posting limit
or have not confirmed your email address. Clearing your cookies may
help as well. Instructions for clearing your cookies are available at the
bottom of this email.

Due to a recent outburst of message spamming on our site we have
implemented changes that require users to confirm their email address before
being able to send messages, and that throttles the number of messages
that can be sent at a time. To request a confirmation email go to the
"Upload" button at the top of our website after logging in. You might
want to try looking in your spam folder if you can't see it in your
Inbox. Clearing your cookies may help as well. Instructions for clearing
your cookies are available at the bottom of this email.
